Every morning brings a new day, and every night that day is through

It definitely has not sunk in yet that in two days time we will officially be on the road. As Taylor pointed out earlier, in different TIME ZONES (yeah, I didn't realize that on my own. shut up).

I keep busying myself with silly details like making sure we have enough bug spray, peanut butter, and music to last us... because god FORBID we listen to the same cd twice. That means I'm bringing along a large amount of cds from my high school years.. I hope Taylor is ready for a throwback of sorts (I actually can't wait....my taste in music was impeccable).

Thank you to everyone who gave us a cd, by the way..... Justin, Becca, Andrew, Christine, Pete, Brandon, Katrina, Justin, Dave, Jess.... hopefully I'm not forgetting anyone. You guys are awesome :)

ANYWAYS, the point of this post (and I do have one, really) is to acknowledge the fact that I have been thinking so hard about these little pointless tasks because I really don't know what to expect from this trip (or how to plan for it, but that's a different post). I literally just sat here for about ten minutes thinking about what it will be like... and I can't picture it. At all.

There's a million things that can happen... traffic jams, thunderstorms, meeting weird ass people while couchsurfing, really good food...and really BAD food, finding new bird-related lawn ornaments to steal (whoever mentioned a flamingo..... yeah I want one), sunburns, flat tires, tornados (my bad, Taylor would be thrilled), caffeine overloads, silly arguments that could end in some hostile driving hours, and singing at the top of our lungs like we do so well.
But all of those unforeseen crazy terrible/amazing things are what is going to make this trip so incredible.

And now all of you can follow us on our journey to see Stacy in dear old Astoria, Oregon. I hope you're ready for it.
I know I am.
